We are more aware than ever before that ‘we are what we eat’ and want to know where our food comes from. On Mull & Iona, food is from producer to consumer. We support our local producers for quality, provenance and reduced food miles. Our visitors enjoy these benefits, keeping our islands thriving. Our specially arranged Festival activities combine our wonderful food with our unique wildlife and heritage, giving you the opportunity to experience all that Mull & Iona have to offer. The aim of Mull and Iona Food Festival is to work with local producers to promote local products on our islands for all to enjoy.
This year we have changed the dates to span Thursday to Tuesday and have brought the Festival forward to the beginning of September to take advantage of the better weather at this time of year.
With such a wealth of fresh highland produce on our doorstep it’s easy to see why the Taste of Mull and Iona Food Festival is such a successful event and now a well established date on the islands calendar.
